Mr. Khrawkupar M. Kharsyntiew is a trained winemaker who studied Food Processing and Wine Technology in Nashik. He produces unique wines from locally sourced fruits such as plum, wild berry, pineapple, blackberry, strawberry, gooseberry, and raspberry, without using yeast or added chemicals. Some of his wines are aged for up to 8 years. Currently, the business is awaiting its Excise Licence and operates on a small homemade scale. With proper machinery, quality control, and attractive packaging, he aims to expand production and supply his products across Meghalaya, other states, and eventually international markets.
